Payroll Operations Director

As a key member of our Payroll & Workforce Management team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional payroll services to our clients. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, while also driving business growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the management of client payroll portfolios, including client relationships, risk management, and financial oversight.
- Collaborate with Associate Directors, Directors, and Partners to drive business growth and strategy.
- Develop and execute plans to expand existing client relationships and pursue new business opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to Deloitte and regulatory standards and processes.
- Contribute to the design and execution of the Payroll Operate business strategy.
- Support the Payroll Advisory team with payroll consulting projects.
- Train and develop team members, including new Analysts and Consultants.
Requirements:
- Excellent UK domestic technical knowledge with good level of Expatriate experience.
- Experience of being part of or managing a payroll work stream within Professional Services company or a large Bureau.
- Understanding of operational payroll within a large organisation or payroll vendor.
- Experience of the full annual payroll cycle.
- Effective prioritisation management and organisational skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of payroll business processes.
- Working with 3rd parties, including payroll vendors.
