Job Description

Hays Travel is seeking a highly skilled Travel Experience Specialist to join our successful teams in our branches. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to build and maintain relationships with customers, identify and meet their needs, and use social media to promote offers, generating customer engagement and sales leads.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to deliver exceptional customer service experience.
  • Identify and meet customers' needs by providing expert knowledge of travel products and tour operator systems.
  • Use social media platforms to promote offers, generate customer engagement, and drive business through targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Participate in promotional events and activities to increase exposure of the branch and drive sales growth.
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets by maintaining a high level of product knowledge and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Assist with the day-to-day operation of the branch, including administrative duties and data entry.
  • Stay committed to ongoing professional development and training to enhance skills and performance.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year experience as a Travel Consultant or similar role in the tourism industry.
  • A proven sales record, with a strong ability to work towards individual and team targets.
  • Possession of excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated passion for travel and tourism, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service experiences.
  • Good accuracy and numerical skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Competent IT skills, with proficiency in using social media platforms and software applications.
Estimated Salary:

We are offering an estimated salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure includes a competitive bonus structure and opportunities for career advancement within the company.
