About the Role


We are seeking a dedicated and proactive IPS Employment Specialist to support individuals with mental health conditions and other complex barriers to secure and sustain competitive employment.


This role follows the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model, which is highly effective in helping people find work and maintaining employment.


Key Responsibilities:



  • To provide intensive employment support to individuals with mental health conditions and other complex barriers to secure and sustain competitive employment
  • To work closely with healthcare professionals, employers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of services
  • To maintain accurate records and reports on client progress and outcomes

Requirements:


You will need to have a strong understanding of the IPS model and its principles, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a passion for supporting people with mental health conditions to achieve their employment goals.


What We Offer:


We offer a competitive salary of £29,777 per annum, plus 25 days' annual leave and bank holidays, and a contributory pension scheme.


Working Arrangements:


This is a full-time permanent position, and you will be based in Lancaster. You will be required to travel to various locations throughout the region to meet with clients and partners.
