Optometrist - Hospital Contact Lens and Paediatric Experience

Job Title: Optometrist - Hospital Contact Lens and Paediatric ExperienceThis exciting opportunity offers a chance to join our multidisciplinary team as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner. We welcome applications from experienced optometrists looking to develop their skills in contact lens fitting and paediatric refraction, or those who aspire to do so.
Responsibilities:- To work autonomously as an optometrist, managing a complex clinical caseload and developing extended roles.
- Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the effective running of the ophthalmology service.
- Develop treatment plans for individual patients and provide advice and support regarding visual problems.
- Degree/Diploma in Optometry and GOC registration.
- Extended role experience and evidence of appropriate knowledge base and CPD.
- Paediatric Refraction (including Cycloplegic and Subjective Refraction) and Complex Contact Lens fitting and management.
- A competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
