We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated optometrist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a visionary optometrist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional eye care to our patients.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic optometrist to join our specialist orthoptist/optometry team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality and comprehensive optometry care, including extended scope services such as paediatrics, low vision, post-op cataract care, and glaucoma.

You will work as an autonomous practitioner in a single-handed capacity without supervision, assessing patients pre-operatively and discussing with ophthalmologists the need for surgical intervention. Additionally, you will maintain the integrity of computerised patient appointment systems, inputting data accurately.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in optometry, with evidence of role extension and teaching experience. A proven ability to manage their workload and use their initiative will be essential in this dynamic role.
