Job Title: Student Support Assistant

Job Description:
A leading education supply agency in Newcastle is seeking an experienced Student Support Assistant to work with a specialist SEND provision in Sunderland. As a Student Support Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting a small group of young people who find it challenging to engage in the classroom.

About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with Autism or other additional needs, a passion for education and helping people, and a nurturing and engaging personality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work with a small group of students with complex needs
- Develop strategies to support student engagement and behaviour
- Collaborate with teachers to develop individual learning plans
