About the Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our esteemed special school in Birmingham. This full-time role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Speech & Language Difficulties.
Job Description:
- Provide individualised support to students with SLD and Speech & Language Difficulties, tailoring assistance to their unique needs.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to implement personalised education plans and monitor progress effectively.
- Be a source of encouragement and motivation, helping students build their self-esteem and independence.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Experience working with students with SLD and Speech & Language Difficulties.
- A genuine passion for special education and the desire to support young learners in achieving their best.
- Patience, empathy, and understanding in providing support to children with diverse needs.
Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
