Diabetes Specialist Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Diabetes Specialist Nurse to join our team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong background in diabetes management and be able to work independently as an autonomous practitioner.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing diabetes in specialist clinics, including renal, pregnancy, and pump services. They will also have strong interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and delivering an expert nursing service within diabetes, including developing evidence-based clinical nursing practice and establishing clear lines of communication with primary healthcare.
Main Duties- To work as an autonomous practitioner and effectively co-ordinate and deliver an expert nursing service within diabetes.
- To be involved in the development of evidence-based clinical nursing practice in line with current research and guidelines.
- To establish clear lines of communication with primary healthcare.
