Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team on a prestigious project in the North of Scotland. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of health and safety policies, procedures, and management systems
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and assess risks
  • Provide expert advice on health and safety matters, including safe equipment use and emergency procedures
  • Oversee and deliver health and safety training and induction programmes
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in occupational health and safety, environmental management, or a related field
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in occupational health and safety
  • Proven experience in a health and safety management role within civil engineering, particularly on large-scale infrastructure projects
