Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this role is £29,970 to £36,483 per annum, pro rata for part-time roles. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including access to CPD funding at University level and opportunities for career progression.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Band 5 Staff Nurse. As a member of our emergency department, you will be working alongside Advanced Nurse Clinicians, Emergency Nurse Practitioners, Consultants, Trauma Technicians, and Senior Healthcare Assistants who support us all the way.
- You'll work on a 12-hour shift pattern, with the opportunity to flex across both Preston and Chorley locations.
- You'll have access to regular study days, including triage process, minor injury assessment and management, acute paediatric care, and insitu-sims.
We deal with everything and anything, so the opportunities for you to enhance your nursing skills, knowledge, and experience are endless. You'll work in a dynamic environment where every day is a learning day.
Person Specification- Appropriate NMC Registration
- Diploma in Nursing
- 6 to 12 months experience post-registration
- NMC recognised Mentorship qualification or willingness to work towards following 18 months commencement in post
