About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Street Outreach Team as a Outreach Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in reducing rough sleeping in Southwark.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct outreach and assessments in various settings, working closely with partners to rapidly access housing, health services, and treatment for those in need.
  • Manage a caseload of clients with multiple disadvantages, requiring relationship building and a thoughtful approach to making incremental change.
  • Work with a diverse group of clients, assisting them to meaningfully change their lives for the better.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will be a strong communicator who can engage with clients in a range of settings. You will also be adaptable to challenges relating to communication, including language barriers, cultural differences, or working with those who are neuro-diverse.

In addition, you will have some experience of client case management and the resilience to achieve and meet agreed outcomes. A UK driving licence is required for this post.
