About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Global Procurement Specialist to join our team based in Dunmurry, Belfast. The successful candidate will lead strategic sourcing initiatives, develop data-driven procurement strategies, and build lasting partnerships with suppliers. This is a fast-paced but rewarding role that offers opportunities for career growth and development.
Responsibilities:
* Lead strategic sourcing: Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies across multiple procurement categories.
* Optimize supplier relationships: Manage and strengthen relationships with top-performing suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring clear standards for quality, cost, and delivery.
* Supply of materials: Deliver consistent supply of materials based on deep understanding of Survitec products and processes.
* Drive cost-down initiatives: Partner with Engineering to achieve cost reductions in high-impact products while upholding quality standards.
* Oversee category budgets: Deliver financial targets in line with our annual operating plan.
Requirements:
* 3rd level qualification or equivalent in Business Studies, Economics, or Engineering discipline.
* Experience in procurement, supplier, and category management.
* Strong grasp of category management, performance metrics, and financial forecasting.
* Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
