We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reception Shift Leader to join our team at a prestigious hotel in London.

About the Role:

  • Supervise and lead the Reception team to deliver exceptional customer service and meet performance targets.
  • Handle customer complaints and queries in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Maximize room sales by effectively handling all enquiries and sales leads.
  • Perform reception duties, including check-ins, check-outs, and handling postings, balancing, and banking.
  • Monitor revenue figures and ensure targets are met.
  • Ensure the hotel switchboard is answered according to company standards, with all messages correctly handled and processed to guest rooms immediately.
  • Assist with training and mentoring new staff.
  • Support the manager with any additional tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a hotel Receptionist in a 4 or 5-star hotel background.
  • Knowledge of the London corporate and leisure market.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience is advantageous.
  • Proficiency with Opera PMS is required.
