Behavioural Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking Behavioural Teaching Assistants to support students with social, emotional and mental health difficulties at our specialist SEMH school in Camden. Our students all have learning difficulties and require support to make progress across both their academic achievements and their social and emotional development.

As a Behavioural Teaching Assistant, you will support our students to stay on task in the classroom, reinforce boundaries and behavioural expectations, and support our students out of the classroom with their emotional regulation as and when required.

This role is challenging, but no two days will ever be the same. We are a close-knit, supportive team who work together and are passionate about making a difference to the lives of students who are at risk of falling behind.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEMH needs and learning difficulties
  • Reinforce boundaries and behavioural expectations
  • Support students with emotional regulation

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs
  • Ability to reinforce boundaries and behavioural expectations
  • Ability to support students with emotional regulation

What We Offer:

  • Long term contract
  • Term time only working
  • £100 - £110 per day (depending on experience)
