About the Role

TBC is seeking a highly skilled Childcare Advocate Lawyer to join their team on a locum basis for an initial period of 6-12 months.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-level advice and assistance to the legal department, advocating on a range of cases including non-accidental injury, child sex abuse, and court of appeal cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing high-level advice and assistance to the legal department
  • Advocating on a range of cases, including non-accidental injury, child sex abuse, and court of appeal cases
  • Working closely with the advocacy unit to deliver a high-quality service
Requirements
  • Previous experience conducting advocacy at final contested hearings lasting at least 5 days
  • Strong knowledge of childcare law and advocacy
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver a high-quality service
  • Commitment to this area of law and a genuine enthusiasm for working as part of a wider team
