Childcare Advocate

We are seeking a highly skilled Childcare Advocate to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. The successful candidate will work closely with a Local Authority in London to provide high-quality legal advice and representation in social services matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Principal Social Care Lawyer in ensuring the Council receives cost-effective legal advice and representation.
- Act as an in-house advocate in all social services matters, including public law proceedings.
- Provide high-level and proactive advice and assistance in social services law.
- Support the Principal Lawyer in reducing expenditure on Counsel.
- Lead on the Council's in-house training scheme for pupil barristers and trainee solicitors.
- Availability to work immediately or at short notice.
- Right to work in the UK.
