About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Civils Structures Engineer to join our team in Arcadis Defence sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the structural design on larger projects, working collaboratively with other design disciplines to ensure the integration of the overall design or solution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the structural design on larger projects, ensuring the integration of the overall design or solution.
  • Present complex technical solutions to clients, providing technical advice to team members to support them in their delivery on the project and in their professional development.
  • Manage project teams with up to 10 people, identifying and ensuring the resolution of any issues.
  • Manage the performance of team members and sub-contractors, providing technical guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng in Structural Engineering or similar.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng).
  • Previous experience working in a similar role.
  • Prior experience working in a consultancy environment.
  • Heavy Civils / Reinforced Concrete structures experience is desirable.
  • Ability to support and lead junior engineers.
  • Existing BPSS clearance or the ability to pass BPSS security clearance is essential.
