Civil and Structural Engineer

We are seeking a talented Civil and Structural Engineer to join our team at High Profile Resourcing Ltd. As a key member of our consultancy, you will be responsible for designing and analysing civil structures, particularly within the water industry, energy, renewables, highways or infrastructure sectors.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead projects and programmes of work, particularly in design.
- Perform technical design and analysis for new and existing steel and concrete structures using appropriate software and guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver projects.
- Lead quality, sustainability, and safety initiatives throughout the design and asset lifecycle.
- Prepare project briefs, scopes of work, and bid proposals.
- Manage time and budgets to meet project milestones and schedules.
- Contribute to personal and professional growth, as well as the development of colleagues.
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 2+ years post graduate experience to Senior Civil Engineers with expertise in designing and analysing civil structures, particularly within the water, energy, renewables, highways or infrastructure sectors.
- Knowledge of structural engineering codes (Eurocodes, BSI, etc.).
- Extensive experience in reinforced concrete (RC) design, including water and soil retaining structures and foundations.
- Experience in steelwork design.
- Experience in the water/utilities sector is an advantage.
- Proficiency in computational analysis techniques and software; knowledge of BIM is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction techniques.
- Commitment to sustainability, including re-use of structures and low carbon design.
- Experience in project and business management, including resource planning and fee estimation.
- Understanding of cost and contract management is an advantage.
- Client-facing with strong relationship-building skills.
