Ensuring Data Quality and Compliance

Somerset Cancer Register is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Professional to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our cancer care software solutions. This includes interpreting national datasets and guidance, maintaining mapping documentation, and ensuring that SCR enquiries meet operational needs and data quality requirements.

About Our Team

To succeed in this role, you should have a recognized analysis qualification, such as the ISEB Testing Foundation Qualification. You should also have GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths, and evidence of own professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advanced use of Microsoft products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Visio, and Internet Explorer.
  • Practical understanding of requirements analysis, including interpreting and applying NHS Data Dictionary and Data Standards to applications/products.
  • Experience in User Acceptance Testing.
Remuneration Package

The estimated salary for this position is £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will receive a range of benefits, including a generous annual leave allowance and opportunities for career development.
