About the Position

This Acquisition and Reference Professional role involves securing land rights and completing land referencing for clients. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of IT systems and excellent communication skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To deliver high-quality services to clients and colleagues, ensuring all correspondence is authorized before sending.
  • To achieve fee income set in Performance Review, working closely with experienced colleagues to support the team.
  • To manage time utilization effectively, maximizing efficiency and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • To provide technical assistance, skills, and services to the team, collaborating closely with project teams on client sites.
  • To engage proactively with landowners to secure required consents, keeping clients updated on practical matters affecting land.
  • To complete land referencing, including identifying owners and occupiers of land, and handling landowner complaints regarding on-site activities.
  • To arrange site visits for serving notices, undertaking records of conditions, and conducting site meetings, assisting the team in settling compensation claims.
  • To maintain accurate stakeholder records, tracking progress, and providing clear and concise records of condition.
  • To work within client-set timeframes and targets to ensure timely delivery of programs, adhering to Quality assurance and Health and Safety standards.

Requirements:

  • A good working knowledge of IT, particularly Microsoft Office packages, including MS Excel and MS Outlook.
  • A self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with colleagues and clients.
  • The capacity to work in an organized and methodical fashion, with a high level of attention to detail, managing time effectively to prioritize tasks.
  • A willingness to be part of a team and interact with other professional staff, possessing a clean and full driving license.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
