Job Overview

As a Quality Assurance Manager at CV Library, you will be responsible for leading the implementation and maintenance of our quality management system. This role involves ensuring compliance with BRC standards and regulations.

About the Role
  • Develop and ensure compliance to on-site quality management systems and BRC standards, resulting in ongoing accreditation of standards.
  • Act as a key member of the HACCP team, involved in HACCP implementation and review.
  • Maintain accurate labelling and date coding on site.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of GMP paperwork.
  • Assist in employee training on new procedures and systems developed for BRC implementation.
  • Lead TACCP and VACCP teams.
  • Administer customer complaints, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Maintain product safety and composition within current legislative requirements.
  • Investigate out-of-specification results from chemical and microbiological testing.
  • Manage shelf life sampling, product reviews, and benchmarking.
  • Ensure standard technical requirements such as Pest Control and calibration are managed to BRC standard.
  • Evolve QMS to ensure compliance with new BRC standards and customer requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 3-5 years experience in a QA role with a food manufacturing business.
  • Possession of Level 4 Food Safety qualification or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Able to read, analyse, and interpret technical procedures and EU regulations.
Compensation

£45,000 - £60,000 per annum.
