We are seeking a skilled Contracts Coordinator to join our team at Owen Daniels. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating all projects to ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with agreed-upon programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend job handover meetings with Sales Director and relevant Contracts Manager, taking notes and ensuring actions are completed.
  • Place all purchase orders, ensuring information is recorded on the relevant cost sheet.
  • Review cost sheets with Contract Managers on a regular basis.
  • Order and control plant hire, maintaining an up-to-date plant register.
  • Ensure contract folders are kept up to date and archive completed projects.
  • Set up a Health and Safety file for every project and collect RAMS from contractors.
  • Send out works commencement notices to clients with necessary details and documentation.
  • Submit Building Regulations' applications, if required.
  • Generate and issue site meeting minutes.
  • Coordinate Contract Managers' diaries, ensuring they are up to date at all times.
  • Ensure site reports are completed daily by Contract Managers.
  • Generate O&M manuals.
  • Ensure Contracts Managers have all relevant documentation for job closures.
  • Monitor and update the training schedule for staff and contractors.
  • Assist with the implementation of the ISO 9001 quality management procedure.
Contract Setup
  • Prepare job packs, including drawings and updates.
  • Drawings, update drawing register, and issue latest updates.
  • Request RAMS and necessary certificates from contractors.
  • Health and Safety.
  • Submit building regulation's applications.
  • Assist with the program of works and issue, keeping updated on a weekly basis.
Key Skills and Competencies
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office, including TEAMS, Evolution M, and project software.
  • Experience working with databases.
  • Good understanding of job costings.
  • Team player with good communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Well-organized.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • A professional approach.
The Package
  • Salary £28,000, dependent upon experience.
  • You will be joining a team of friendly, experienced, positive professionals.
