About the Role
Unlock Your Potential in Mental Healthcare
We are seeking an experienced Clinical/Forensic or Counselling Psychologist to join our Integrated Mental Healthcare team at HMP The Mount. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will play a vital role in developing the psychological therapies service and working in partnership with the IAPT service to ensure the best care for patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality psychological assessments and interventions for adult mental health presentations, including neurodiversity and complex trauma.
- Develop and implement trauma-informed practice and train staff in trauma-specific interventions.
- Contribute to the development of the psychological therapies service and work collaboratively with the IAPT service.
- Support the clinical leadership team in developing and implementing mental health strategies.

Requirements
- Experience working with adult mental health presentations, including neurodiversity and complex trauma.
- Training in trauma-informed practice and at least one trauma-specific intervention.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a clinical leadership team.
Working Arrangements
This is a full-time, 9-5pm role with flexible time working possible. We would also consider part-time applicants at a minimum of 3 days per week.
Salary
This position is a full-time, fixed-term contract for nine months, with an annual salary up to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
