Job Title: Health and Social Care Educator

Location: Remote

Type: Permanent - Full Time

Salary: £27,500 - £30,000

Eden Brown Education is seeking a Health and Social Care Educator to join our team. As a Health and Social Care Educator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality apprenticeship provision in Health and Social Care. You will work with adult learners who are employed or preparing to enter the care sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure the marking of work and assessment are completed in a timely manner and that this is then given in both written and verbal developmental feedback to learners.
  • To proactively prepare learners for assessment, including End Point Assessment (EPA) requirements, portfolio assessments, and online assessments.
  • To complete high-quality learner progress reviews that cover all aspects of the programme and enhance future progress towards completion of all aims.
  • To keep up to date with all key funding and qualification updates required for all provision, including apprenticeships, classroom-based learning, and End Point Assessment changes.
  • To deliver a range of core courses to support learners develop Employability and Personal Social Development skills to move them nearer to the local labour market.
  • To develop and maintain more than one competency in two vocational areas within the business curriculum portfolio.
  • To complete surveys with learners across the learner and employer journey, including induction, on-programme, exit surveys, and employer surveys.
  • To collect case studies for learners and employers to evidence the impact of the service provided.

Requirements:

  • Teaching qualification at level 4 and willingness to work towards level 5.
  • TAQA/Assessor qualification at level 3 or willingness to work towards.
  • 3 years' experience delivering high-quality apprenticeship provision in Health and Social Care.
  • Experience of delivering level 4 and level 5 apprenticeships in Health and Social Care.
  • 3 years' experience delivering high-quality classroom-based provision in Health and Social Care.
