About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Child Welfare Specialist to support the mental health needs of vulnerable young people in a specialist school near Guildford. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and young adults with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with SEMH needs
  • Providing one-to-one interventions and group work
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with students, staff, and parents

Requirements:

  • Degree in Psychology or related field
  • Experience working with SEN children and/or adults
  • Knowledge of mental health principles and practices
