About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners by delivering targeted interventions that enhance their educational journey. The ideal candidate will be expected to support students with diverse learning needs, assist in creating teaching resources, and contribute to lesson planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and adapt teaching materials to cater to individual student requirements
- Deliver high-quality support to students during lessons and activities, including preparation and setup
- Implement targeted interventions to promote student wellbeing and development
- Provide one-on-one and small group support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Foster a positive classroom environment through fun activities and games promoting socialization and inclusivity
We are looking for a candidate who possesses:
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or relevant degree
- At least one year's experience supporting primary school pupils, preferably Early Years or Key Stage 1
- Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Experience leading group and one-to-one phonics interventions
We offer a competitive salary range of £85-£100 per day, reflecting the location and demands of this rewarding role.
