Are you looking for a rewarding career in residential care? Westgate Healthcare has an exciting opportunity for a Domestic Assistant to join their team in Ware, Hertfordshire.

This 30-hour per week role involves maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the care centre, including all rooms, public areas, and staff facilities. You'll be working a flexible schedule from 9:00am to 3:00pm across Monday to Sunday, with a competitive hourly rate of £11.55, plus a 50p enhancement for weekend work.

As a Domestic Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning all assigned rooms, focusing on surfaces, floors, and en-suite bathrooms
  • Maintaining and replenishing cleaning supplies
  • Ensuring equipment is clean, well-maintained, and stored correctly
  • Following Health and Safety procedures
  • Maintaining public areas to company standards

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A valid right to live and work in the UK
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to work collaboratively, demonstrating a caring attitude and positive approach
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety, Infection Control, and COSHH principles
