About the Role

This is a great opportunity for an experienced and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Anchor Hanover. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our residents, while also supporting and mentoring less experienced staff members.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Care Delivery: Ensure the highest standards of care are delivered to our residents.
  • Team Support: Mentor and support less experienced staff members to help them develop their skills and confidence.
  • Medication Administration: Manage and administer medications to residents, in accordance with their care plans.
  • Care Planning: Review and update resident care plans to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
Requirements
  • Diploma/NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Experience of working in a care environment, preferably with a senior role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
