About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to provide occasional support to individuals in need, as a Relief Support Worker at Salvation Army Homes.
As part of our team, you will work closely with people who are or have recently experienced homelessness, helping them to achieve their goals and live independently.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Building trust and rapport with clients to understand their needs and goals
- Unlocking clients' potential by providing personalized support and guidance
- Enhancing social integration through participation in social and leisure programs
- Assisting residents with daily living tasks and support needs
About the Candidate

To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Excellent communication skills to build trusting relationships
- Able to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues
- Knowledge or experience working with vulnerable populations, such as homeless individuals
- Ability to participate in on-call rotas as required
