Clinical Nurse Specialist in Neurosurgical Oncology

About the Opportunity
We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a skilled nurse to join our Division of Surgery – BHRUT NHS team as a CNS in Neurosurgical Oncology. This role provides the chance to work closely with the neurosurgery team, developing and implementing effective patient care pathways and contributing to the improvement of patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing a caseload of patients with brain and spine tumors.
- Conducting nurse-led clinics to support the consultant's workload.
- Contributing to the development of our service, including the implementation of new protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A BSc in Neuroscience or Oncological Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Significant experience in neurosurgical and cancer nursing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this CNS position is estimated to be around £45,000-£65,000 per annum, based on experience. Our organization also offers a range of benefits, including a London Living Wage employer status, apprenticeship programs, and a diverse workforce from 146 different countries.
