Job Overview:
We are seeking an exceptional Automotive Team Lead to join our Halfords Group PLC team in Rotherham. As a Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of the workshop, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality customer service.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a talented team of technicians and contribute to the success of our Autocentres. You will oversee the allocation of jobs, manage workshop resources, and maintain a positive working environment.
Salary and Benefits:
The successful candidate can expect a salary of £33,000 - £37,000 per annum, plus bonus. Additionally, you will enjoy a range of benefits, including up to 50% off garage bills, discounts on products, and access to financial planning support via Wagestream.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance standard or equivalent experience
- Proven management experience with a focus on performance and delivery
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively
- Experience in developing colleagues through technical training
- Ability to exceed customer metrics and meet compliance standards
- A current full valid driving license
