SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community in Barking & Dagenham.

This Teaching Assistant role is suitable for graduates from top UK universities who have gained a 1:1 or 2:1 degree. It is essential that you have had some level of child-centred experience.

Job Summary
  • Full-time, term-time only position with a September start
  • £90-£100 per day (inclusive of holiday pay) paid weekly via PAYE
  • Support classroom behaviour and assist students during challenging periods
  • Provide tailored assistance to SEN children academically, socially, and emotionally
  • Career progression available with specialised training in a brilliant SEN team
  • Work closely with classroom teachers, SEN coordinators, and other professionals to implement individualised education plans
