Autism Care Assistant

Ribbons & Reeves are London's leading Education Recruiters. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Autism Care Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a primary school in Barking & Dagenham, which offers a supportive environment and excellent opportunities for professional growth.
The successful candidate will have a degree in Psychology and experience working with children with autism. The role involves providing one-to-one support for non-verbal students, assisting with emotional regulation and basic tasks, and encouraging progress and attainment. The ideal candidate will work closely with the SEN provision team to ensure effective support.
This is a full-time, term-time only contract with an ASAP start. The salary is estimated at £90-£100 per day, making it a competitive offer in the area. We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting children with autism and can make a positive impact on their lives.
Responsibilities:
