Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Transport Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the transport team, ensuring that all transport operations are fully functional and operating correctly to company standards.

The role involves day-to-day management of financial reviews, weekly forecasting, focusing on safety and compliance, and managing P&L's on all transport-related duties for the business within the site area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the transport team, including transport administration, planning, customer queries, and debriefing drivers.
  • Ensure that all transport operations are fully operational and compliant with company standards.
  • Conduct regular financial reviews and prepare weekly forecasts to ensure the transport function is running efficiently.
  • Focus on ways to improve business efficiency and best practice within the transport management function.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a managerial position, leading a team.
  • Experience as a Transport Manager or equivalent, performing similar transport duties.
  • CPC certificate required for this position.
