About the Role:

NCC Group is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Threat Intelligence Specialist to join our threat intelligence team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in helping our clients stay safe and secure against cyber threats.

The Global Threat Intelligence team has built a strong reputation for collecting and combining data from various sources. In this role, you will analyze cyber threats, develop actionable intelligence, and collaborate with various teams to support the development of NCC Group's Threat Intelligence capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track, document, and report on different types of threat actors
  • Document and report on threat tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), indicators of compromise (IOCs), and infrastructure
  • Conduct in-depth analysis, document, and report on malware families
  • Support other pillars within the Global Threat Intelligence team with research and analysis
  • Support CIRT teams across the group from a Threat Intelligence perspective
  • Answer internal and external requests for information (RFIs)
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and industry forums to share threat intelligence
  • Participate in information-sharing communities to stay up-to-date on the latest threat landscape
  • Manage and optimize threat intelligence platforms and tools to enhance analysis efficiency
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools to improve the overall capabilities of the threat intelligence function
  • Gain and maintain access to dark web resources, web forums, shops, markets, and chat services

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or Information Security
  • Experience and affinity with technical writing
  • Experience in working as a Threat Intelligence analyst or a similar position
  • Knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, Domain Name System (DNS)
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies, operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS, Unix)
  • Familiarity with the Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) cycle
