VAT Advisory Services Manager
Menzies LLP is seeking a skilled VAT Advisory Services Manager to join our thriving Tax team based in Heathrow. As a VAT Advisory Services Manager, you will be responsible for delivering VAT advisory services across a diverse mix of businesses and large international groups, across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver VAT advisory services to clients across different industries and business sizes.
- Provide VAT guidance and support to clients on a day-to-day basis.
- Oversee the completion of VAT registration applications and other HMRC forms.
- Deal with internal VAT queries and international HLB overseas offices as required.
- Participate in monthly VAT team meetings and contribute to the development and expansion of the VAT team.
- Identify opportunities for risk mitigation and cross-selling between service lines.
- Train and mentor junior colleagues within the VAT team.
- Ensure adherence to the Firm's technical, ethical, risk, and compliance procedures.
Requirements:
- Strong VAT technical and practical knowledge.
- Good knowledge of VAT issues affecting various industries.
- Experience of large corporate and international VAT matters is advantageous but not essential.
- Knowledge of other business taxes is preferable but not essential.
- Strong IT skills, including MS Office.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
