Job Title: Import Executive

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Import Executive to join our team at Kevin Theobald Employment Agency. As an Import Executive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient importation of goods into the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Air & Sea-freight Customs Clearance: Ensure timely and accurate clearance of imports through customs, adhering to all relevant regulations and laws.
  • ERTS Compliance: Manage and maintain accurate records of ERTS compliance, ensuring all necessary documentation is up-to-date and compliant.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of goods in transit.
  • Liaising with Regulatory Bodies: Communicate effectively with Border Force and other regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Operational Requirements: Liaise with airlines and airport handlers to ensure smooth operations and maintain up-to-date schedule information and shipment status reports.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all quality control procedures are updated and adhered to, maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Audits and Compliance: Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Duty and VAT Reclaims: Process and manage duty and VAT reclaims, ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement.
  • Customer Queries: Respond to customer queries and concerns in a professional and timely manner, providing excellent customer service.
  • Ad Hoc Duties: Perform ad hoc duties as required, including filing and dropping documents to customs.
