About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Investment Team Assistant to join our dynamic team at Bain and Gray. As a key member of our Investment Team, you will provide administrative support to our Managing Director and Directors, ensuring seamless coordination of their busy schedules and supporting the successful delivery of our investment strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex diaries and calendars, ensuring seamless coordination with internal and external stakeholders
  • Arrange end-to-end travel arrangements for domestic and international trips
  • Support all administrative needs, including correspondence and document preparation
  • BUILD AND MAINTAIN STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH PORTFOLIO COMPANIES
  • Manage team expenses and maintain accurate records
  • Maintain a comprehensive contacts database
  • Prepare documents for board meetings, VC calls, and other important events
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and contribute to discussions
  • Provide general administrative support as needed

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of administrative procedures
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks effectively
  • Familiarity with MS Office software and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Graduate level or equivalent, with a background in Private Equity, Asset Management, or a related field

Salary and Benefits

  • A competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, based on experience
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including private health insurance, life insurance, and a pension scheme

Location

Bain and Gray is based in Marylebone, London, with regular travel required to meet clients and stakeholders. A flexible approach to working hours is encouraged, with some remote work options available.
