Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team at ABM. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our office spaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Cleaning Routines: Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, wiping, and disinfecting surfaces, as well as emptying waste and top-up consumables.
  • Deep Cleaning: Conduct regular deep cleaning tasks, such as scrubbing kitchens and toilets, hoovering and mopping floors, and disinfecting high-touch points.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain high standards of cleaning and attention to detail, ensuring that all areas are clean and organized.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all cleaning equipment is in good working order and report any issues to your line manager.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure that cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

  • Good Attendance: Maintain good attendance and punctuality, ensuring that you are available to work your scheduled shifts.
  • Teamwork: Work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with colleagues and management.
  • Time Management: Manage your time effectively, prioritizing tasks and completing them to a high standard.
