About the Role

Bryn Mawr College is seeking an experienced Controller of Financial Management to join our team. This is a critical role that requires a high degree of expertise in financial management, accounting, and leadership.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial management, including experience with general ledger, monthly closing procedures, and variance and analytical reports. S/he will also be responsible for managing the annual audit engagement and 990/BCO 10, as well as developing and monitoring key business performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Performing all operations of the finance department, including accounts receivable/payable, payroll, benefits, contracts, and general ledger.
  2. Leading and/or supporting financial and operational communications to the board, related committees, leadership team, and the organization at large.
  3. Developing, implementing, and maintaining effective and streamlined financial, operational, and administrative processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance. CPA and/or MBA preferred.
  • 5 – 7 years' experience managing a full suite of financial functions, preferably in a nonprofit setting.

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience.
