Senior Clinical Fellow in Obstetrics

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Fellow in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have competencies equivalent to ST6+ level and will work on the Registrar rota with daytime and resident on-call commitments.
Main Duties
The post holder will be responsible for developing specialist knowledge and skills in managing women with endometriosis and other common benign gynaecological conditions. They will also be expected to integrate into our research and training projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide GESEA certification courses and laparoscopic suturing masterclass courses
- Run Hands on Training sessions to other trainees
- Participate in departmental teaching, audits and governance meetings
- Take part in research projects
Person Specification
Essential Criteria
- MBBS qualification
- Full GMC Registration
- Part 1 MRCOG
Desirable Criteria
- Part 2 MRCOG
- Four years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the UK or equivalent
