Job Summary
A commercial contract specialist is sought by Eden Scott to manage key customer relationships, support project profitability, and provide data-driven insights to optimise contract and financial performance. This role combines analytical skills with contract management, making it ideal for someone who excels at interpreting data, analysing trends, and making recommendations to improve business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyse customer activity, project performance, and financial metrics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Provide regular reporting and actionable insights to drive better decision-making and performance.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Analyse contract terms, changes, and disputes using data to inform negotiations and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Contract & Financial Management: Track cash flow, costs, and project profitability. Ensure timely revenue recognition and adherence to contractual terms. Analyse financial data to forecast trends and potential risks.
  • Project Support & Analytics: Work closely with the Project Delivery Manager to monitor project performance from a financial perspective. Provide analytical support to help meet and exceed financial targets.
  • Customer & Account Insights: Build and maintain strong client relationships, using data insights to address service level agreement (SLA) issues and identify opportunities for upselling and repeat business.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare detailed financial forecasts, track variances, and present data-backed recommendations to senior management to ensure continued profitability.

This role requires experience in managing contracts and projects, with a focus on financial success. The ideal candidate will have strong financial forecasting and modelling skills, excellent communication skills for presenting data insights, and a solid understanding of cash flow, cost management, and profitability analysis.
