Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academic Instructor to join our team at Belfast Metropolitan College.

About the Role

  • As an Associate Lecturer in Hospitality Management, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students.
  • You will be required to work in a variety of settings, including classrooms and other College facilities, as necessary.
  • The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the duties of a Lecturer as outlined in the Contract for Lecturers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver lectures, tutorials, and other teaching activities to students enrolled in Hospitality Management programs.
  • Develop and implement curriculum materials, assessments, and other educational resources.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students and colleagues.
  • Participate in departmental and College-wide initiatives to improve teaching and learning.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Proven teaching experience in a post-secondary setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
