Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Academic Instructor in Plumbing to join our team at Belfast Metropolitan College. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, as well as contributing to the development of our plumbing curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and assess students in plumbing-related subjects, including water systems, piping, and fixtures.
  • Develop and deliver curriculum materials, including lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations.
  • Contribute to the development of our plumbing program, including curriculum design, program evaluation, and accreditation.
  • Provide academic support to students, including advising, mentoring, and tutoring.
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide committees and initiatives.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as plumbing, water systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a post-secondary setting.
  • Proven track record of teaching and assessing students in plumbing-related subjects.
  • Strong curriculum development and program evaluation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
