Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Lecturer in Electrical Installation to join our team at Belfast Metropolitan College. As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, and contributing to the development of our Electrical Installation program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions to students on Electrical Installation courses
  • Develop and implement curriculum materials, assessments, and evaluation methods
  • Provide guidance and support to students, including academic advising and mentoring
  • Contribute to the development of the Electrical Installation program, including curriculum design and review
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide committees and working groups

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Electrical Installation or a related field
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
