Security Architecture Leader for BT Business

We're seeking an exceptional Principal Security Tribe Architect to lead our teams in developing and implementing cutting-edge security architectures. As a key member of our Security Tribe, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of technical strategy and architecture with business outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of security protocols, risk management, and compliance, as well as excellent stakeholder management skills. Experience with Agile methodologies and incident response is highly desirable. Our ideal candidate will also be passionate about staying current with emerging security threats and technologies.

This role offers a competitive salary of £95,000 per annum, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes annual on-target bonuses, car allowances, private healthcare, and a BT Pension scheme. In addition to your base salary, you'll receive a 15% on-target bonus, equivalent to £14,250 per annum, making your total compensation package worth £109,250 per annum. Other benefits include a car allowance worth £5,500 per annum, private healthcare for you and your family, and a BT Pension scheme with a minimum 10% employer contribution.

As a Principal Security Tribe Architect at BT Security, you'll be responsible for:

  • Developing and driving the security architecture strategy and roadmap aligned with the company's vision
  • Providing recommendations to the Tribe Lead on expected security outcomes and balancing customer value with technical debt
  • Assessing and guiding the technical shaping of security-related epics and features, identifying major dependencies and integration points with existing systems
  • Contribute to the overall Business Architecture roadmap by integrating security initiatives and ensuring alignment with business objectives
