Job Summary
We are seeking an exceptional Orthoptist with leadership skills to take on the role of Lead Orthoptist at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to lead our Orthoptic services, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership to the Orthoptic team, ensuring the delivery of excellent patient services.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, working closely with clinicians and other stakeholders.
- Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Orthoptic team, including clinics, patient assessments, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Supervise and assess junior team members, providing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
