Job Description
As a Fund Accounting Specialist, you will have day-to-day responsibility for a varied portfolio of Private Equity clients. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Using your experience and excellent organizational skills to meet client requirements and ensure the overall fund team performs and grows.
- Acting as a central point of contact for your client, identifying and anticipating possible problem areas, and offering suitable solutions.
- Managing relationships with other service providers in the industry, including auditors, law firms, custodians, and prime brokers.
- Producing client reporting and checking of Fund NAV reports.
- Coordinating and validating all work delivered by the team, and assisting in the design of systems and processes to meet client needs.
- Leading internal fund projects and working closely with the fund administration IT systems to provide fund servicing solutions.
Your Profile
We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced individual with:
- A strong background in fund accounting, including NAV calculation, transfer agent, and investor servicing.
- Experience in UK GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
- A high level of experience with consolidation, IFRS/FRS accounting, and financial statements preparation.
- Experience of fund administration IT systems.
- The ability to act on your own initiative and lead a team of fund administration professionals.
