Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team, responsible for managing a varied portfolio of real estate and corporate clients. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks and lead a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships, identifying and anticipating potential problem areas, and offering suitable solutions to meet client needs.
- Guarantee all operational aspects of the account, including client invoicing and financial monitoring of the client portfolio.
- Manage relationships with other service providers, including auditors, law firms, custodians, and prime brokers.
- Produce client reporting and check reports for accuracy.
- Coordinate and validate all work delivered by the team, assist in designing systems and processes to meet client needs.
- Lead internal fund projects and work closely with fund administration IT systems to provide fund servicing solutions.
Requirements
- Fully qualified (e.g. ACA, ACCA).
- 5-10 years of relevant work experience in an Accounting role.
- Experience in UK GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
- High level of experience with consolidation, IFRS/FRS accounting, and financial statements preparation.
- Ability to act on own initiative and lead a team of fund accounting professionals.
