About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Audiologist to join our team as a Hearing Aid Dispenser Apprenticeship. The successful candidate will work with an experienced colleague, carrying out fittings and customer rehabilitation of hearing aids, follow up visits, and aftercare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mobile based Audiologist working with an experienced colleague
  • Carrying out fittings and customer rehabilitation of hearing aids
  • Follow up visits and service/repair calls as well as aftercare
  • Referring customers to a Mentor Audiologist for upgrading existing hearing aids
Training & Development

This apprenticeship combines on-the-job training with classroom-based learning at De Montfort University in Leicester, spanning 24 months. Upon completion, you will achieve a Level 5 award in hearing aid dispensing, enabling registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a valid driving licence due to the domiciliary nature of the role, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be willing to relocate within the West Midlands region.
